We have kicked off 2020 in style with not one but three award nominations. We are extremely proud that our Quantum™ and Quazar™ hand dryers have made the top 50 products in the Tomorrow’s Cleaning, Tomorrow’s FM and Tomorrow’s Care 2020 award guides, and in just a few months we will find out if we have taken the top prize.

The Quazar™ has been recognised by Tomorrow’s Care for being the most socially inclusive hand dryer on the market. With its ultra-slim profile, it is ideal for washrooms that need to keep floor and lower-wall space free for visitors that need assistance in the washroom, particularly wheelchair users and those using walking aids. The ADA complaint unit is so compact that it leaves visitors free to move around without the risk of colliding with large, obtrusive equipment. It also benefits from a low sound output, making it ideal for care home settings, where loud noises may startle residents. Ensuring that our products encourage thorough hand hygiene practices is extremely important to us, so we are thrilled to have been recognised in this sector for the Quazar™.

Our Quantum™ dryer is also up for two awards and what makes this milestone particularly meaningful to us is the recognition for our green credentials. Sustainability has always been at the forefront of our designs and we are extremely proud to offer some of the greenest hand drying solutions on the market.

It has always been our view that, as a business we have a responsibility to ensure that our practices and products don’t negatively impact on the environment. The cleaning and hygiene sector is an industry that constantly uses natural resources and produces carbon emissions through manufacturing processes, so we really must consider the knock on effect that we have on our wider surroundings.

With this in mind, we created our Airdri Quantum™ and Quazar™ models, which have both achieved the coveted GreenSpec status for using less than 1,000 watts. In fact, emitting just 200 watts, the Quantum™ is the lowest energy consumption unit in the world.

It is this very machine has that secured us a place in the final of the Tomorrow’s Cleaning and Tomorrow’s FM awards. If you’d like to support us, please follow the links below to vote.

Sustainability is a topic very close to our hearts at Airdri. If you’d like to find out why we believe power outperforms paper, have a read of our latest article in Tomorrow’s Cleaning.
