About Us
The Airdri Group originated in Oxfordshire (UK) in 1974, co-founded by seasoned and entrepreneurial engineers Peter Philipps and Peter Allen.
During a period of notable progress in the hand drying industry, they identified a market gap for highly dependable, energy-efficient, and aesthetically pleasing hand dryers suitable for various washrooms. This initial spark of innovation has materialized in our continually expanding range of hand dryers.
Over the years, the Airdri Group has undergone evolution. While hand dryers remain our focal point, our in-house engineering proficiency has propelled us into exploring new avenues for growth. Since the 1980s, operating under the Formula Systems brand, we have been pioneers in elevator technology, introducing patented elevator door systems and speech units. In early 2020, Airdri introduced SteraSpace – a series of top-tier air and surface sanitizers proven to effectively eliminate up to 99.6% of harmful bacteria and viruses.
Currently, Peter Philipps’ sons, Toby and Bruce, serve as Chairman and President, respectively, guiding the company forward. The visionary legacy of their fathers continues to flourish through the expertise of the creative team they have fostered and are nurturing.
