About Us
The Airdri Group. Engineering excellence since 1974.
Founded in 1974 in Oxford, UK by British engineer and entrepreneur Peter Philipps. It continues to be a family owned business with operations in the UK, USA and Asia.
Over the years, the Airdri Group has evolved. In-house engineering has been the constant throughout, enabling the development of sector-leading hand dryers and diversification into new technologies within the elevator world. Most recently, the Group has moved into air sanitizing technology – to improve hygiene, safety and public health.
Today Peter Philipps’ son, Bruce is President and Group CEO, based at the headquarters in Oxford. Peter’s eldest son, Toby Philipps serves as Chairman of the Board. The visionary legacy of their father continues to flourish through the Airdri Group family of businesses, and through the social impact foundation – the Peter Philipps Foundation, launched in our 50th year, 2024.
